Los rayos de luz viajan desde el objeto hasta la lente de manera paralela. La lente se enfoca en un punto llamado foco principal. Se utilizan en refracci\u00f3n \u00f3ptica para compensar errores o defectos de refracci\u00f3n, como la miop\u00eda y ciertos tipos de astigmatismo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Existen principalmente tres tipos de lentes convergentes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Biconvexas: Tienen dos superficies convexas<\/li><li>Planoconvexas: Tienen una superficie plana y otra convexa<\/li><li>C\u00f3ncavoconvexas: Tiene una superficie ligeramente c\u00f3ncava y otra convexa<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lentes divergentes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estos lentes refractan los rayos de luz que les llegan separ\u00e1ndolos entre s\u00ed, es decir, divergen. El foco principal es el foco de donde proviene la luz.
